Phishing Scams
Simply put, a phishing scam is a wolf in sheep's clothing. A phisher will disguise themselves as a reputable entity (like Bell or Eastlink) hoping you will click on what they have sent you. A more detailed description can be found by clicking below.

This is a fraudulent call often using something called 'spoofing' to trick their target into answering. From there the criminal will try to extract personal information or ask for money.

This one is getting out of control in 2026, the biggest offender is Facebook. Scammers use AI impersonate celebrity and political figures you think you can trust. It is getting more and more difficult to discern AI from reality. When in doubt, do not click!
